Lela Massey

    Mrs. Lela Massey, age 82, of Horseshoe Bend, died Thursday afternoon, May 8, at the Smith County Health Care Center.  She is survived by:  sons, Kenneth, Gary, & Steve Massey all of Elmwood;  2 grandchildren;  6 great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Massey is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Marvin Saylors officiating.  Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens.

    The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel on Friday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.

Flossie Hindsley

    Mrs. Flossie Hindsley, age 86, of Carthage, died Thursday morning, May 8, at the Riverview Regional Medical Center North.  She is survived by:  children, James Hindsley of Milton & Betty Hensley of Lebanon;  11 grandchildren;  12 great-grandchildren;  2 great-great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Hindsley is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. with Eld. Charles Allen Gentry officiating.  Interment in the Ridgewood Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends at the Carthage Chapel on Friday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.
